Mimi is daddy's little girl and sometimes comes across as spoilt and selfish. She is though kind and caring and loves Palmon so much when they had to leave she didn't want to say goodbye. She eventually did and her hat flew through the air as she left. She is sincere though and it came through when Dark Tyrannomon was about to attack her dad which allowed Togemon to digivolve. In Episode 6 Togemon In Toy Town Palmon digivolves to Champion for the first time. In episode 35 Flower Power she finally digivolves to ultimate of Lillymon.

In the second series she has changed a lot. She has dyed her hair pink and no longer wares that dress but t-shirts and short skirts! She offers support to the digidestined but she lives in America now but comes to see the kids every so often. (Cause her dads rich) She has a friend called Michael and he's a digidestined from America! Mimi becomes a Culinary Analyst. (I mean Mimi cooking come on!)

Mimi's last name, Tachikawa, means "Big Sword River" For her first name here is no way to know for sure what her name means, but the name Mimi is often written with the characters for "Beauty and Truth"
