Yolei is like Mimi and Sora in one. Although she has love she can be self centered. Her parents own a convinience store but she has to pay for the stuff she has. She is the new computer kid but she is good with most of electronics. She became a digidestined because she sent loads of e-mail during the Diaboromon fight(the 2nd movie) She is the oldest of the new digidestined. Later on in life she marries Ken and becomes a house wife.

In Episode 2 The Digiteam Complete Hawkmon first digivolves to Halsemon. In Episode 14 The Samuri of Sincerity Hawkmon first digivolves to Shurimon. In Episode 25 Hawkmon digivolves to Champion of Aquillamon. In Episode 31 Opposits Attract Aquillamon DNA digivolves with Gatomon to Shilphymon.

The characters for her last name, Inoue, mean "Above the Well" and her first name, Miyako, means "Capitol"
