Ikuto Noguchi is a young boy from the Digital World. He was raised by Mercurimon (one of the 12 Olympian Gods), and was taught to resent and hate humans. A primary factor in his hatred for humans is the death of his "mother", Yukidarumon. She was killed by humans in the Digital World, and she died while protecting Ikuto and Falcomon, Ikuto's partner.

Ikuto was accidentally sucked into the Digital World when his partners were working and experimenting with Digital Gates to the Digital World in their home. Since he was so young when it happened, he doesn't remember much about his normal life with his real parents, and thus the reason why he calls himself a Digimon. Ever since then, he was been under the care of Yukidarumon, then of course Mercurimon.

Being completely blinded, Ikuto and Falcomon are determined to destroy any human that comes into the Digital World. As confrontations with the DATS members, and happenings in the real world continue, Ikuto comes to realize that he has been fighting for others, and not for himself. With the reunion of him and his parents, Ikuto slowly begins to realize that he is indeed a human and states that when Mercurimon dies that he has a Digimon's heart.

He fights with the others to protect the human world against Yggdrail and is upset when Falcomon decides to go back home. He stays in the human world and ends up going to the same school as Chika.
