Chapter 005 - Xros Pride!! The Pride of a Warrior!!
Dorulumon has left Xros Heart behind, however he feels rather lonely. He suddenly sees smoke when he looks back and realises they have been found and thinks straight of Cutemon. Then Akari and Cutemon turn up. Shoutmon X2 is getting battered by Greymon and MailBirdramon. Kiriha explains he's actually taking it easy on Taiki's group, with Lilymon thinking they're going to be defeated and asks if Dorulumon is really going to return. Taiki states he doesn't know but understands Dorulumon's feelings. He thinks the reason that Dorulumon has been protecting Cutemon all this while must be because his heart is shrouded in his pride as a warrior. He then apologises for taking this gamble. Gaosumon come to attack but Starmon attacks on his own, stating that they are behind him and they won't be defeated until they see the future of the Digital World.

Dorulumon asks how Akari and Cutemon knew where he was. Cutemon tells him it's because of Dorulumon's scent marking, in which Akari blushes (in short Dorulumon had to pee XD). Cutemon apologises to Dorulumon as he has heard is past and that he didn't know. Cutemon states that Dorulumon hid those feeling from him by laughing when he was actually scared. Dorulumon replies that Cutemon is soft hearted and he could have been the one that destroyed the village. Akari answeres that he left the Bagura army to look for Cutemon's parents and he's reflected on that. Dorulumon says that there are some sins that can't be forgiven and what he did doesn't mean he's been cleared of those sins. We find out that Dorulumon honed his skills and was forbidden from joining the wars. He had doubs over his clan and the reason he was strong. He left them and joined the Bagura Army to show off his skills but there were sacrifices on both sides. His clan knew and the fact became clear he was soiling his clan's pride, that is why he won't fight anymore. This is the last bit of dignity he has left and he is sorry to Taiki and the others.

Cutemon wants him to look forward to laugh for the sake of the future and not of the past. However Baronmon turns up with some Gaosumon and Bommon, they are part of Blue Flare's Army. Dorulumon tells Akari and Cutemon to get on him and they will escape. Cutemon says he can't and he attacks one of the Gaosumon to prove that even if it is embarassing then the warrior's pride can't be gotten back by anyway other than fighting. Dorulumon asks why he did it. Cutemon answers that he did it because they travelled together, got hungry, wet, warm and ran though the wind. Dorulumon is another member of his family and he doesn't want Dorulumon's heart to hurt anymore, they start to head off but Baronmon is fed up and orders the Bommon to attack. Dorulumon attacks with Dorulu Tornado causing an explosion in the sky of the Bommon. Kirhia wonders what it was and the trio arrive. After being cool for a new moments, he tells Taiki that what he wants to protect is right there and that's reason enough for him to fight.

Taiki Digixros' Ballistamon and Dorulumon to make Ballistamon SR (Sixted Launcher). He then Digixros' Shoutmon and Starmon to make Shoutmon SH (Star Wheel). Shoutmon can now move pretty fast and starts to run rings around Greymon. Ballistamon SR attacks with Sixted Storm on MailBirdramon. MailBirdramon realises if he takes multiple hits like this he wont' last too long. Kiriha knows that the new strategy is a good one and that Greymon will also eventually get beaten, Xros heart were stalling for time. From the bushes some Monitormon are watching. Zenjirou is now going after Kirhia as Taiki has Digixrosed Starmon and Pickmon to give him Chibick Sword (he calls himself Zenjirou CS lol). He tells Kiriha it replicates his faveourite sword the "Koutoumaru". He asks Kirhia if he knows what he is, in which replies the hell if he knows and to go swing around a tree branch. He is able to knock Kiriha's Xros Loader from his hand giving Taiki the advantage. Taiki Digixros' Shoutmon, Ballistamon and Dorulumon to Shoutmon X3. Zenjirou gives up the sword to allow Taiki to then Digixros the Shoutmon and Pickmon to create Shoutmon X4.

Greymon is surprised by this but MailBirdramon tells him to not get distracted, that it's just a show and they are no match for them. Kiriha realises the plan was to prevent him from using DigiXros and that Taiki was able to set him up, but he also wonders about the power. Taiki tells him that his Xros Loader power doesn't just combine strength or attacks but it also connects emotions together, DigiXros is the power of bonds. Shoutmon X4 then uses Burning Star Crusher hurting Greymon. Kiriha spots that Greymon recieved more damage than the injury from Tactimon. Shoutmon and co have now dexrosed as he exceeded his power. Greymon wants to keep going and tells Kiriha to reload MailBirdramon and let them Digixros as he wants to burn them all to ashes. Kiriha replies no they are retreating as Tactimon and other powerful forces are probably observing the fight and he can't reveal his whole hand just yet. Greymon gets mad and grabs Kirhia by the neck as he is humiliated by this defeat. Kiriha yells at him that if he battles in this state, he'll suffer more damage and wouldn't stand a chance if other forces aim at him. He tells him that if he wants to kill him to do it, but he would not forgive Greymon is he died on this battlefield. MailBirdramon tells Greymon that Kiriha is a better actor than Greymon and that those chose him to be their general because he isn't that sort of man.

Kiriha asks Taiki to return him his Xros loader and they better not battle again, at least not until he wins again. He then throws something to Taiki that turns to be the Code Crown. Kiriha says it's the proof of the vitory and that he can have it for now...well until he becomes his subordinate. Akari yells at him to not decide that. Kiriha leaves on MailBirdramon thinking about Taiki. Taiki having no interest in his talent or potential...but instead using that same talent to risk his life for some idiots dream. He then wonders why competing with Taiki makes him feel like he's opened up his own potential.

At Bagura HQ, Lilithmon asks where the Code Crown is. Tactimon says he will defeat them whenever he wants and that he's grown a little interesting in the Digixros. He's letting them free so that he can observe their state. Lilithmon realises that something is off with Tactimon. She thinks the boys are cute and wonder if she can take them without saying anything to Tactimon

In Twilight HQ we see DarkKnightmon and he wonders what 'The Princess' thinks of those two. Nene replies she thinks they boy have the basics nailed down well but their colours are too pure and likely won't mix. Dark Knightmon thinks it's a shame that one side has to destroy the other before asking which one would be more appropriate as your bridegroom? Sparrowmon tells him to not talk to her like that. With Taiki and co, Taiki is thinking about both Kiriha and Nene. Akari asks him what's wrong in which he replies only he's wondering if there was any meaning as to why we and the others came to this world. OchiMusyamon asks to join Xros Heart, Shoutmon wants to hit him. It seems as if he's going to go with them at any rate. Zenjirou states that it looks like they'll have to go around and explore the various zones, in which they open the portal to the next one.
