Yggdrail lived in the system world and is the god of the Digital World, he split his consciousness to make Norun and even created the Digimon Twins just in cases he was corrupted.

When Norun was on Earth Barbamon came to Yggdrail, after interrogation Barbamon decided that the Digital World needed to change and merged with Yggdrail (who apparently approved). However he is defeated by Victory Greymon.
